Meeting Anca changed my life. I always struggled with my relationship with food, she got down to the core. It wasn't just habits she uncovered but the deep rooted emotions and also my gut health from when I was growing up. My gut health dramatically improved in a week. I was never hungry on the meal plans she designed for me. I love that she designed it so that my husband could also enjoy it with me making it so convenient. She does recommend a lot of supplements BUT we've tapered it down now so that too is manageable, she checks in with me each time to make sure I am ok and she is so open and receptive to receiving feedback.
Additionally she taught me simple and easy to remember breathing exercises which I still do! I love it so much and I have incorporated it into my coaching sessions with clients and they LOVE IT! (Thank you Anca - a credit to you!)
Additionally my gut is so much happier! She communicates so much clearer to me now and I look at food so much differently. What types of eating disorders do you support?
I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of disordered eating patterns, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, orthorexia, emotional eating and body image distress. You do not need a formal diagnosis to seek help — if your relationship with food or your body is causing you distress, you are welcome here.
What makes your approach to eating disorders different from standard treatment?
Unlike many traditional approaches that separate the physical and psychological, I work holistically by integrating nutritional therapy, somatic psychotherapy, lifestyle support and emotional processing. This whole-person method addresses the deeper root causes of disordered eating and helps you reconnect with your body, regain self-trust and move toward lasting recovery.
Do I need a referral to book an eating disorder consultation?
No referral is needed. You can book directly through the website or contact me to ask any questions. I offer both in-person eating disorder consultations in Melbourne and online sessions for clients across Australia.
Are your eating disorder sessions claimable on private health insurance in Melbourne?
Yes you can claim back on Medicare with and EDP plan or private health if covered for dietetics.
How long does recovery take?
Recovery is a highly individual process. Some people begin to feel better within a few sessions, while others need longer-term support. Together, we will work at a pace that honours your nervous system and personal capacity, while building the skills and trust needed for long-term change.
